Frequently asked questions
Answers for parents and carers about Eden OS, the app, pricing and testing.
When can families download Eden OS?
Not yet. We're testing the first iMac version and will only offer downloads after installation, accessibility and reliability checks.
Will Eden's Garden be free?
Our goal is to make learning accessible and affordable without unnecessary paywalls. Final distribution and support arrangements haven't been announced.
What devices will it work on?
The original Eden OS prototype is being built for an iMac. Wider computer support and mobile and tablet apps are being investigated, but supported devices and minimum requirements are not confirmed.
Can children try it now?
Families can try simplified browser activities. An adult should supervise, and the demo does not include complete parental controls or child accounts.
Does Eden's Garden replace a teacher or therapist?
No. It is playful, educational support for home learning, not a medical device, diagnostic tool or replacement for professional advice.
Can my family become a tester?
Parents and carers can register interest. The project will invite testers only after a stable baseline is ready.
What information is collected?
The demo requires no child account. The separate parent-interest form collects an adult's email, optional name and preferences. We ask that no child or medical details are shared. See our privacy information.
How can I suggest an improvement?
Use our anonymous project feedback form. Please do not include details that could identify a child.
